For the first time, from June 9th to 12th, the European Commission organises a Festival dedicated to the New European Bauhaus (NEB). Designed around three pillars (Forum, Fair and Fest) and based physically in Brussels, at Gare Maritime & Mont des Arts, but equally around Europe and online, the Festival of the New European Bauhaus will bring together people from all walks of life to explore, debate and shape a beautiful, sustainable and inclusive future.
As part of the side program of the festival the Amsterdam-Almere pavilion at the Floriade and Pakhuis de Zwijger will host a special program on reconnecting with nature.

In Omroep WNL’s Goedemorgen Nederland (olv Welmoed Sijtsma en Nikki Herr) met fractievoorzitter van D66 Jan Paternotte en de burgemeester van Vlaardingen Bert Wijbenga-van Nieuwenhuizen mocht Farid Tabarki onder andere (helaas) ingaan op nieuw CBS onderzoek waaruit blijkt dat bijna een half miljoen jongeren in Nederland het afgelopen jaar ‘psychisch ongezond’ waren .
Ondergetekende mocht een keynote verzorgen tijdens de door Timpaan georganiseerde tweede editie van Future House, over het wonen in 2035.
Met vertegenwoordigers uit verschillende sectoren werd gewerkt aan aan de toekomstbeelden van drie thema’s: ‘betaalbaarheid van wonen’, ‘leef- & woonfonds’ en ‘transformatie in bedrijf’.
